California's Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing (SOMAH) Program benefits participants on many levels: Property Owners, Tenants, Job Seekers, Contractors, and Housing Agencies.
This program delivers clean power and credits on energy bills to hundreds of thousands of California’s affordable housing residents.
California's SOMAH Program provides financial incentives to all qualified affordable multifamily apartment homes to aid in solar installation costs.
More than 3,500 properties across California encompassing nearly 255,000 individual households may qualify for program benefits.

You must MEET ONE of the criteria listed below to be eligible to get paid.
1. Enroll in The free HeatSpring Training Academy. It's self-paced, 40-hours, and completed online here.
2. Be currently enrolled in an eligible job training program here.
3. Graduated from an eligible job training program within 12 months of starting your first SOMAH Job training opportunity.
4. Live at a SOMAH Property.
