The initiative focuses on measuring pollutants, toxic air contaminants, and greenhouse gases, particularly in disadvantaged communities.

Yard 2 Farm-YOuR URBAN GARDENS & FARMS

Our Yard2Farms #SouthLAGreenFoodLandProject expands its current "green food access" spaces into dedicated community "urban farms, edible gardens and open community green spaces" that increase BIPOC Community Food Security Sustainable Green Spaces, Environmental Education, BIPOC Community Engagement, and BIPOC Community Health and Wellness.

It expands and transforms outdoor land or living spaces throughout South LA or surrounding areas of high economic needs. We especially focus on areas that have been abandoned or that we can adopt.  The project includes rooftop urban farms, edible parks and gardens, fresh food donations to homeless missions, families in need and and Los Angeles residents.

#SouthLAGreenFoodLandProject was made possible

The Halo Food Project

Clean Energy Supporting Local Food Systems For Communities In Need.

In partnership with USDA and RFI, TNF’s Halo Food Project (HFP) "EV Full Retail Mobile Grocery Store" stewards a necessary and pivotal food system of clean energy retail mobile grocery that provides high quality healthy foods for retail with SNAP and EBT accessibility thanks to the HFFI Initiative, RFI and USDA.

The community stores will benefit very low-income, low-income, underserved, underrepresented, disadvantaged and BIPOC communities of LA and South LA, giving 1.3 million LA residents an immediate food access and food security action plan.

See what the community had to say about natural and organic snacks. Check back soon for our CA farm partners and what our community tasters had to say about that.
