Our Pilot Yard To Farm Program Brings The Farm To You!
We're building farms for families who have outdoor space and want to transform them to green, beautiful, edible spaces. We build it at no cost to you and we will train you how to grow it and water it.
If you have out door space where quality grocery stores are limited and you could use help in balancing between bills and paying for fresh quality healthy food, please let us know!!
You might be eligible to receive a custom food garden/farm.

Transforming Unused Spaces Into
Urban Micro Food Farms
Problems We Are Addressing:
How We Address Them:
We provide an opportunity for our communities who need it most an opportunity to build urban micro food farms in their local neighborhoods.
We provide the supplies, the tools and the resources, and they provide the space.

East Los Angeles

What We Do:
1. Creating Vibrant Sustainable Environments:
We take unused, non-sustainable, or abandoned spaces and transform them into green, sustainable, viable fresh food access sites for underserved, underrepresented, disadvantaged communities.
2. Healthy Living, Diet, Nutrition and Wellness:
We promote fresh food access, increasing food sovereignty, and addressing food deserts through project-based learning. We're training our communities on becoming home growers, farmers, gardeners, and increasing healthy food choice options for wellness, health and nutrition.
3. Physical and Active Life Skills:
Growing, gardening, farming, and culinary have become integrated into training offered to families, as part of our regular program activities.
4. Occupational Training:
Designed with the potential for career training in agriculture, and or food industries.
5. Covid-19 Safe Community Engagement:
We encourage our residents, volunteers, students, schools, and businesses, to get involved alongside families in our programs.
