The Community Farms & Gardens Initiative
This is a long-term solution!
The purpose of this program is to increase the development, and or implementation of urban farming in Los Angeles for underserved, underrepresented, challenged and low-moderate income areas.
We are seeking to build various types of agriculture for food access such as farms, gardens, rooftop gardens, greenhouses, hydroponics, and or similar.
Our mission is to create, rehabilitate and support as many community gardens and farms throughout our local communities for as many areas as we can.
***Our current partner garden is offering garden boxes/plots for low-income families in need at no cost to the family through The Niles Foundation.
This program focuses on sustainability, community action, education and fresh food access.
