Fresh Food Access for 39 Affordable Families including Transitional Youth here in Los Angeles California. This was created through our community programs.
We planted over 300 seedling plants to build this community garden. Many more plants will be added as the seasons change for families to have fresh food access.
This site has three levels and roughly 1000 + sq ft. This will be converted into a community garden where residents in the community can have access.
This is the second level, where we will grow and harvest food for community residents in need, underserved and underrepresented.
This is the bottom level and our citizens will also get trained, develop skills, and grow food. This site will provide community engagement with support, and access.
We will begin developing this space for growing seedlings, growing vegetation and harvesting to donate to famalies in need.
This is another space to grow and plant pollinating plants for our pollinator creatures.
